Nokia 808 Pureview Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom

The upcoming Nokia EOS will be competing against the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom for photo-centric smartphone users.

The EOS is expected to use the same camera assembly as the Nokia 808 Pureview from last year, so comparing photos taken with the 808 to the Zoom should give an idea of what buyers can expect in the next few months.

Russian site Hi-tech.mail.ru did just that, and posted some comparison pictures on their site.

I think the year-old 808 does a pretty good job of holding its own, and should do even better when optical image stabilization gets added to the mix.
