We all have high expectations that Nokia will be unveiling their Windows Phone 8 handsets at Nokia World in Finland on the 5th September.

Now Nokia and Microsoft has sent out a joint invite to media sites for a event on the same day in New York, USA.

The invite does not say exactly what will be announced, but it seems highly likely Microsoft will finally officially unveil the consumer features of Windows Phone 8.
