New poll find users trust Microsoft more than Facebook and Apple

Following the recent data harvesting scandal around Cambridge Analytica, Facebook’s reputation and trust among the Americans have down significantly. SurveyMonkey/Recode recently conducted a survey to find the most trusted US technology company. Survey respondents were asked to choose among Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, Lyft, Microsoft, Netflix, Tesla, Twitter, Snap and Uber. According to the survey results, Microsoft was trusted more than Google, Apple and Facebook in the US.

Facebook is already in damage control mode. Its CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified for the past two days before Congress regarding how it controls user data.
