The new Dev Center dashboard

Here’s a first look at the brand new Dev Center. Its design is more Metro than before (if we can still use that word haha). And it is now called “Dev Center”, as you may have obviously noticed.

The new graphs look great

Functionality-wise, the Dashboard is quite similar to before. It tells you your total payouts and your last payment, and displays your current downloads of your top apps for the past month. It interestingly hides your crash count from the main page though, so developers may not notice how frequently their apps are crashing anymore!

The new graphs look quite better than before in my opinion, and they’re even interactive which is the coolest part! You can hover over the graph and it’ll display the exact downloads on that date. You can also filter downloads by the country they were downloaded (I forget if you used to be able to do that).

In-App Purchases supported in WP8

And finally, the new Dev Center supports In-App Purchases. In-App products are only supported in Windows Phone 8 though. You can read a little more about In-App Purchases here.
