Windows Phones are getting ever larger, with even entry-level handsets now regularly touching 5 inches.
A 7 inch smartphone is still a rarity however, but Ramos is betting the time is now for such a beast.
At the Hong Kong Electronics Fair they showed off the Ramos Q7, an entry-level Windows Phone handset with a massive 7 inch screen.
The specs are otherwise pedestrian, featuring a 720P screen, Snapdragon 200 processor, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB storage, 2 megapixel front and 5 megapixel rear camera, and HSDPA rather than LTE, and running Windows Phone 8.1.
The massive device however has one more stand-out feature – a gigantic 4000 mAh battery which assures more than all day use.
The device is certainly aimed at those who’s budget can not stretch to both a phone or a tablet, but who do not want to choose between either.
