Netflix now supports streaming with Dolby Atmos Audio on Xbox One and Xbox One S

Netflix today announced that they are adding Dolby Atmos support for movies beginning with Okja. Dolby Atmos can deliver great sound that places and moves audio anywhere in the room, including overhead. For now, Dolby Atmos streaming is supported only on Xbox One and Xbox One S. There are two ways to enjoy Dolby Atmos audio on Xbox One or One S:

  • Using a Dolby Atmos-capable home theater audio system, such as an AV receiver, or sound bar
  • Using headphones and the Dolby Access app on Xbox.
