myTube is a stylish and functional 3rd party YouTube app for Windows  which features:

  • Continue watching your current video while you browse the app
  • Listen to music videos in the background while you use other apps
  • Support for up to 2160p playback and 60 FPS videos
  • Download videos and audio to watch or listen to later
  • Create and manage playlists on your channel
  • View and play playlists even when offline
  • Post comments, and reply to comments from others
  • Receive notifications when your favorite channels upload new videos
  • Upload videos to YouTube
  • Cast videos to the big screen with DLNA

The beta version of the app has been updated to version 2..9.35.0 with better support for the latest version of Windows 10 Mobile, Redstone, and features the following improvements:

  • Redstone support
  • Started implementing background audio
  • Saves space on mobile devices by hiding header bar on video page
  • Saves space in landscape mode by hiding the header bar
  • New color scheme for the player controls
  • On Redstone, the player controls are now translucent and blur the video behind them
  • Added color scheme selection (not yet complete)
  • Started working on Chromecast and DIAL support
  • Started working on remote system casting (Casting to other Windows devices running myTube)
  • Changed Xbox/TV Mode style
  • TV Mode now automatically goes fullscreen
  • Comment control no longer focusable or clickable
  • Able to post comments
  • The app should now keep you signed into YouTube for more than 60 minutes
  • Moving your finger quickly will seek at a faster rate
