New Outlook for Windows app

According to Microsoft 365 Roadmap page, Microsoft Outlook on the web and Outlook for Windows will bring a brand-new meeting response (RSVP) option. For years, Accept, Tentative and Decline were the options that were available for Outlook users. These options helped people who have several conflicting meetings on a day.

The new RSVP option coming soon to Outlook is called Follow. The new Follow option will be suitable for situations where users can’t attend the meeting but still want to stay engaged and receive info about the meeting.

When a user Follows a meeting, other attendees of the meeting will be able to see if the particular user is following a meeting.

This feature will be available in the new Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web from March 2024.
