Mixer has announced Mixer Academy, a brand-new program designed to let Mixer members learn how to be the best streamer, moderator, or power user around.

All you need to do is have a Mixer account (which is linked to your Microsoft account) and visit the official Mixer Academy website, which you can find either at academy.Mixer.com or by clicking the following link.

At the moment, Mixer Academy offers three different courses: Streamer, Moderator, and Power User.

The Streamer course is for those who are looking to create their own content and put it out in the world. Mixer Academy offers lessons on things such as how to build your own following, curate your social media presence, and get yourself out there.

The Moderator course is all about learning the ins and outs of moderating. Keeping the community safe, helping out other streamers, and learning about what mods actually do can be found on the Moderator course.

Finally, the Power User course teaches Mixer users all the basics of Mixer. You can learn how Mixer works, what you can get out of Mixer, how to keep your profile in top shape, and how to do things such as report others for misbehaviour.

All these courses are completely free for Mixer users – which, in turn, is also free to join! The Mixer team also say that this is just the beginning and that there’ll be more content in the future, including new courses.
