French startup Miraxess introduced a new laptop dock at CES 2017, which allows you to connect your smartphone and enjoy a desktop like experience. The dock, called the Mirabook, will feature a 13.3-inch 1080p screen in an aluminum 2.2 lb chassis, with HDMI and USB Type-C ports, and an SD card slot so that you can expand the memory up to 128 GB. The battery is good for up to 24 hours, and the shell has a built-in USB cable to charge your phone simultaneously.

Right now the device supports Microsoft’s continuum, with talk about Android’s Andromium (though no official support).

Miraxess will fund the the Mirabook through an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign in March or April, and will begin taking preorders then.
