Minecraft is always bringing us new and bizarre modifications that boggle my idiot mind. Remember when someone made a working hard drive inside the game? Incredible stuff, but it’s been outdone. A Minecraft streamer has created Minecraft inside a Minecraft chest.

“I’m sorry, what?!” might have been your first reaction. Mine was more of a, “Um, w-how?”. Well, I’m not quite sure how it’s been made, but it works through a simple Minecraft chest.

Creator SethBling showed the method on his YouTube channel. Within the chest, a section of the game world has been recreated with 2D icons that represent the in-world blocks. There’s also a tunic in the chest which represents the player character: by manipulating the tunic he can break apart blocks and collect those ever-so-important resources.

Through the game’s inventory within the chest, SethBling showed that he can even craft in-game weapons like the pickaxe and sword. It’s insane!

While this Minecraft inside a Minecraft chest may be incredibly limiting, it’s a fun little addition to the ever-popular game.
