Microsoft has already announced in January that Windows Phone will soon support a music locker service based on OneDrive.

Now it appears, based on reviews from their dogfooding (internal testing) app, that the music locker service is already functional, and based on posted reviews pretty good, though not completely trouble-free.

Also interesting is that even some Microsofties have complaints about the UI of the app.

The app is a Windows Phone 8.1 app, and based on the likelihood of the Windows 10 upgrade coming only much later in the year, we hope the locker feature will hit devices still running Windows Phone 8.1 much sooner.

The app can be seen, but of course not downloaded, from the store here.

Thanks Alex from Moviltoday.com for the tip.
