Microsoft is in the process of rolling out its new icons for Office apps for Android and iOS. The last app to get the refreshed icon was the Outlook app for Android back in March. Fast forwarding two months, Microsoft has released a new update to its three of the most popular Office apps, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and with this update comes the new icons.
The new update takes PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to version 16.0.11727.20104 and offers no features aside from the new icons.
We now have five Office apps in Android, which has the newly-launched Office icons. Note, OneNote is among the popular apps that are yet to get a similar treatment. But you can expect Microsoft to roll the feature soon to other popular Office apps for Android.
