Microsoft’s Xbox One is going to see a UI improvement for Xbox Insiders in the form of its virtual keyboard.
The new “Mini Keyboard” is a redesigned UI element that Microsoft should help the console’s currently shoddy interpretation.
After some time is put into refining the new keyboard, Microsoft claims it will be able to float over the UI for adaptive repositioning. Unlike the large, pop-up UI we have now, the Mini Keyboard will smartly position itself around certain UI elements, like text boxes, to provide a better experience.

Microsoft will not be killing off the original, larger version of this traditional UI element. If users wish to switch back to the original, they will be able to find it under Settings, Ease of Access, Magnifier, Larger Keyboard.
