Project Westminister

Yesterday, Microsoft announced that websites can be turned into a Windows Store app easily. This work was developed under the codename Project “Westminster” inside Microsoft. With this project, you can call native Universal Windows APIs from javascript on your website. Also, you can mix in native code with your website code.

Microsoft has also made improvements to hybrid/packaged web apps.
