Microsoft’s personal assistant, Cortana, just got a major new feature thanks to the company’s latest Skill built for Cortana. Redmond is bringing its Personal Shopping Assistant as a Cortana Skill to Windows 10 PCs, Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and Cortana speakers. Microsoft is also launching the Personal Shopping Assistant on Facebook Messenger today.

With the Personal Shopping Assistant on Cortana, users can get deals for products on websites like Amazon, and also track all the price changes in the future. Once you setup the Personal Shopping Assistant as a Cortana skill on your device, you can ask it things like “Hey Cortana, ask Shopping Assistant for my products” or “Ask Shopping Assistant for my products from Amazon.” The Personal Shopping Assistant will then show you the results right within Cortana which is certainly quite neat. To celebrate the one year anniversary of the Personal Shopping Assistant, Microsoft is also launching a new Boards feature for the service which will basically allow you to store a group of similar products on one board.

Microsoft’s Personal Shopping Assistant is one of the few projects from its Garage lab that has been able to stay alive for more than a year, and from the looks of things, it’s been a hit so far.
