Microsoft is currently rolling out updates to its Office Mobile suite of apps to bring parts of Fluent Design to the apps. Redmond today released updates to Word Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile, and Excel Mobile that introduces elements of Fluent Design. Microsoft has added Fluent Design’s Acrylic material to the sidebar of the apps which is actually quite subtle compared to Acrylic in some of Microsoft’s other apps. It’s a bit difficult to actually notice the Acrylic in the screenshots:

Acrylic is also found in the header and ribbon of the Office Mobile apps but it’s very subtle there too. Microsoft has added the Reveal effect of Fluent Design to these apps as well.

If you are a Windows Insider in the Fast Ring, you can get the Fluent Design updates right now from the Windows Store.

Thanks for the screenshots, Vitor!
