Microsoft has released an update to the Groove app for Windows Insiders on the Release Preview ring.

The update adds the equalizer feature which was leaked a while ago, allowing users of the Groove Music player to change their sound settings according to their preference.

The update also adds the option to change the wallpaper and lockscreen of your device to corresponding artist art of the currently playing artist, a feature which was first used in the Windows phone iterations of what used to be called Xbox Music.

Microsoft has brought the design of Groove more in line with the design of the Mail and Calendar app as well, removing the title bar.
