Microsoft's Chromium-based Edge browser lacks these Chrome features for now

Microsoft yesterday announced the release of next version of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium project. So far, Microsoft has made over 275 commits into the Chromium project. Microsoft is focused on bringing improvements around battery life, accessibility, smooth scrolling and others to Chromium.

Microsoft also listed down the feature and services that are replaced or turned off in this new Edge version. As you can see from the image above, several Google services are turned off, and you can expect Edge team to bring better Microsoft services integration in the coming months.
