Microsoft today announced the availability of its ad mediation service to all developers through the Dev Center. This new Microsoft ad mediation service is a federated cloud based ad mediation service designed to help developers maximize their ad revenue inside the apps.

It dynamically optimizes ad network configurations  and enables developers to maximize their revenue by serving ads on their application. It works with a variety of ad networks that serve ads in various formats (banner, interstitial video, interstitial banner, native).

Microsoft will auto-optimize for best possible yield for the developer. The yield optimization algorithm uses past performance, app information, user context and other parameters to compute the best yield at a per-ad call level.
