The Clio Awards, esteemed international advertising, design and communications competition, announced Grand and “Of the Year” winners at its 57th annual award show held September 28 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Microsoft’s advertising has been honored with the prestigious Advertiser of the Year award by Clio Awards. In addition, Xbox was awarded numerous individual Clios, primarily for the Tomb Raider survivor billboard and Halo 5: Guardians Visualizer. Microsoft works closely with the global McCann Worldgroup agency team.

McCann received a total of 10 Awards at the Clios for the creative campaigns they have made possible for Microsoft, including four gold, five silver and one bronze. McCann reaped several additional awards for Microsoft’s campaigns this week, including winning two golds and receiving special mention for “Technology – Re-imagined” for their work on “The Field Trip to Mars” at IAB Mixx, as well as two prestigious “pencils” at the D&AD Impact Awards for the #MakeWhatsNext campaign in the Industry Evolution and Community categories.
