Microsoft has been working on increasing the speed of Windows Updates in PCs in Windows 10. When reached out on Twitter, Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar informed users that fast updates were a priority on the platform.
Now THIS is something we are pushing the dev team for, it’ll benefit EVERY user.

Microsoft has already implemented several features to make this possible. With Windows 10, the firm uses PCs connected on a local network to distribute update files and make upgrades faster for all pcs on the network, With the Creators Update, Microsoft introduced its Unified Update Platform, and last week the firm began working on letting users resume Windows update downloads if a connection was disrupted without needing to start over again as would have happened previously.
What Microsoft will do next, we figure, will be revealed sooner rather than later.
