Microsoft has partnered with the Cisneros Fontonals Art Foundation (CIFO) to bring difficult to transport Cuban art exhibits to an exhibition in the USA.

Using high-resolution 3D scans of the items, some of them animated, attendees at the Triángulo in Miami are able to use the HoloLens to view rarely seen exhibits in the way the artist intended.

The exhibition highlights the work of three of Cuba’s most important artists – Loló Soldevilla, Sandú Daríe, Carmen Herrera and gives US residents the opportunity to experience the artworks as well as the culture that inspired them.
