Microsoft data centers

Microsoft today announced its plans to open datacenters in Africa to deliver Microsoft Cloud services. Microsoft is planning to deliver Azure, Office 365 and Dynamics 365 from datacenters located in Johannesburg and Cape Town and the initial availability is expected in 2018. As you expect from any other Microsoft Cloud region, these new regions in Africa will offer enterprise-grade reliability and performance combined with data residency.

With today’s announcement, Microsoft is offering cloud services from 40 cloud regions around the world.
