Microsoft to launch an unlocked Surface 3 LTE variant for international users

Microsoft’s Surface team is holding an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Reddit today. On the AMA, Microsoft revealed some interesting info on the newly announced Surface 3.
On the AMA, a user asked the Surface team if there’ll be an unlocked LTE variant of the Surface 3 for international users, and the answer was yes. Unfortunately though, the Surface team didn’t reveal much info about this, including the launch date. The answer from the Surface team stated:
“We are doing an unlocked LTE version. can’t say where it will be available yet, but we hear you and in many markets we will have it available. stay tuned for more!”
This is indeed a very good news for users outside of the United States. We’ll make sure to keep you posted on this topic as soon as more info is available!
