Microsoft is planning to end the assistive technology free Windows 10 upgrade offer on 31st December eventually ending the final chance to upgrade to Windows 10 for free. Microsoft ended the free upgrade offer for all the users on 29th July 2016, exactly a year after the official release of Windows 10. However, the company did allow people with assistive technology to upgrade for free.

Now Microsoft is planning to close the free upgrade offer for people using assistive technology as well. This means that everyone now has last chance to upgrade to Windows 10. Post 31st December, no one will be able to use the loophole to upgrade to Windows 10.

“If you use assistive technologies, you can upgrade to Windows 10 at no cost as Microsoft continues our efforts to improve the Windows 10 experience for people who use these technologies. Please take advantage of this offer before it expires on December 31, 2017.

Microsoft says the offer is only available for people using assistive technology but anyone can take advantage of it since the company isn’t doing any verifications.
