Microsoft has decided to stop providing Office mobile apps support for a few version of Android. The software giant will pull Office apps support for Android smartphone/tablet running KitKat & Lollipop. Effective from July this year, users running the mentioned versions of Android won’t receive any feature and security update. To continue to get updates, you will have to update your Android smartphone to Marshmallow or newer.

Interestingly, Microsoft refused to provide us any detail about the end of Office apps support for Windows 10 Mobile, meaning users running the OS will continue to receive regular updates from Microsoft for at least a few months.
