Microsoft has added a new rather annoying feature to Outlook Mobile apps. With the latest update, users are now seeing ads inside Outlook Mobile.

During our tests, we were seeing ads on email accounts which were not a part of the Office 365 plan and are free. This is certainly not the first time Microsoft has added ads to the Outlook app. Last year we reported that Microsoft is planning to push ads to the non-Office 365 subscribers. Back then Microsoft said that it was just an experimental feature and was not intended for public rollout. This time, ads are showing up on the Outlook mobile apps for non-Office 365 users.

As of now, we haven’t received any comment from Microsoft’s side regarding ads on Outlook mobile. The good thing is you can just swipe left or right to close the ads but it might get permanent if Microsoft rolls it out for all the users.
