Microsoft is working new features for OneNote UWP app on Windows 10. The company recently released an update to update the app with the new fluent design icon.

Now the PM of OneNote has teased a couple of new features that might be coming to OneNote soon. Ben Hodes shared a screenshot of OneNote drop-down menu showing two features- Set as Default Templates and Sort Pages. We think the default template will allow users to design a page according to their needs and use it on other sections. This should be helpful for professionals who can set a layout for all their pages or sections on OneNote for faster note taking. Another feature in the screenshot is the sort pages option. While Ben said not to pay attention to it, we can’t help it. The sort pages section should help users sort their pages according to dates, names, size etc.

Both the features should roll out to OneNote soon. Microsoft, however, hasn’t given any rollout timeline.
