In an effort to bring faster development to the Windows 10 Calendar app, Microsoft has started rolling out Calendar Preview Program to Windows Insiders.

Some Windows Insiders have reportedly received an update, which besides taking the app to Version 16005.12130.40020, adds “Try the preview” toggle at the top right corner of the Calendar app. By turning on the toggle, you’re agreeing that you’ll receive several new features that might contain bugs, which, in turn, could break the Calendar app. In other words, if you turn on the toggle key, you’ll receive features that aren’t meant for public use. The feature is currently limited to Windows Insiders.

One good thing about the feature is that you can toggle the key off if you ever feel the need to do so. Needless to say, you won’t receive any new feature in the Calendar app before anyone else.

The latest update also introduces 34 new themes, improved month view, simplified new event, redesigned account navigation.

If you’re a Windows Insiders and want to try those new features, you should update your Calendar app right now from the below link, or you can visit Microsoft Store. Don’t get disappointed if you haven’t seen any update as this appears to be a phased roll-out, meaning that not every Windows Insider will get the update today.
