Microsoft has started downloading Windows 10 on PCs that reserved the free offer. Now, as it seems like, the company has started prompting users to upgrade to Windows 10. It’s worth noting that if you haven’t been prompted yet, you will need to wait until Windows 10 downloads for you as Microsoft is delivering the OS in waves.

For those who missed it, Microsoft is offering a free upgrade offer to existing (legit) Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 users who are able to reserve Windows 10. Microsoft has previously states that the company has received “millions” of reservations for Windows – which is vague but the company says it is expecting Windows 10 to be installed on 1 billion devices withing the next three years.
