At Build 2018, Microsoft announced Your Phone app as a way to enable a window into your phone right from the PC for a seamless transition of content like messages, photos and notifications across devices. The company took time to develop the app and it was announced for Fast Ring users with the latest build.

Today, the company is finally rolling out the first beta of Your Phone app. Currently available for Fast Ring, it will allow users to share photos from Android to PC without connecting it via USB or Bluetooth. Microsoft confirmed that the initial beta will only support Photos and the team is still working on other features.
The app is rolling out for Windows Insiders on Fast Ring in waves so if it doesn’t work for you right now then give it some time. For now, the app will only work with Android. Microsoft says they’re on iOS support which will be coming soon. However, the app won’t allow users to do as much as it does on Android because of the restrictions placed by Apple.
Update: If you are an Insider and have been waiting for the YourPhone update to hit your device, you should try and update now, as Microsoft has fixed an issue which was preventing the full roll-out earlier.
The fix was confirmed by both the program manager for Your Phone and Dona Sarkar.
