Four weeks ago Microsoft has rolled out an update for the Mail and Calendar app for Windows 10 devices to Insiders which brought more control over how the app downloads external content.

Now in a new update to all Windows 10 users, taking the app to version 16005.10228.20127.0, the improvements have come to all.

Users can now either download external images and style formats except for S/MIME mail (enabled by default) or Automatically download external images and style formats for S/MIME mail. Apart from these, the latest update has bug fixes and performance improvements as well.

The update has added these toggles under Settings> Reading Pane with the two options to choose from.

You can download the Mail and Calendar app from the Microsoft Store below.
