Windows Phone 8.1 Photos

One of the unique features of Windows Phone platform right from its inception is that native photos app integrates with SkyDrive/OneDrive and Facebook. Photos from both these services just appear in the Photos app along with the photos you captures in the device. Microsoft is changing this experience in way they recently changed in Windows 8.1 Photos app. Instead of directly having photos, you will have link to the app. As you can see in the screenshot above, you need to launch OneDrive app to browse photos on OneDrive. If Facebook app is installed, I guess Facebook app icon will be available below to launch.

What do you think of this change from Microsoft? I’m not a happy person to hear this feature change, what about you?
