Last week, Microsoft released Windows 10 Build 17074 for PC to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring and Skip Ahead ring. This build came with major updates to Windows localization and Microsoft Edge reading experience, much improved Quiet hours feature, improvements to Shell and Settings, several bug fixes and more. A small subset of older AMD processors were blocked from receiving this build to avoid users getting into an unbootable state after installation of recent Windows operating system security updates.

Today, Microsoft released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17074.1002 to Insiders in the Fast ring. This build is the same as the version of Build 17074 released last week, but it comes with 2 additional fixes. Microsoft has fixed the issue causing AMD PCs to become unbootable and it has also fixed the issue causing certain devices to hang on the boot screen after upgrading if virtualization is enabled in the BIOS.
