Microsoft recently released an update for Lumia 540 devices in India. This software update includes Thermal improvements alone.

Latest software release for Lumia 540 Dual SIM is Lumia Denim (02074.10000.15342.27003/8.10.15137.148). The availability of this update may depend on your network service provider. To check for updates, on your phone, tap Settings > phone update.
