Microsoft today released a new update for Surface Studio devices running Windows 10 Creators Update. This updated driver for Realtek High Definition Audio (SST) enables Wake on Voice from Modern Standby.

Realtek High Definition Audio (6.0.1.8061) enables Wake on Voice from Modern Standby

You need to have Windows 10 Creators Update (Version 1703) or newer installed on your Surface Studio device to download and install this update. You can either update through Windows Update or download the driver update from here and install it manually. It will appear as “Realtek Semiconductor Corp. driver update for Realtek High Definition Audio(SST)” in Windows Update.

The entry-level Surface Studio is now available for immediate shipping from Microsoft Store US. This Surface Studio model comes with 6th Gen Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M 2GB GPU GDDR5 graphics, ultra-thin 28-inch adjustable PixelSense display, Surface Pen, keyboard, and mouse. You can order it here from Microsoft Store.
