Microsoft today released new firmware and driver updates for Surface Book devices running Windows 10 Creators Update (Version 1703) or above. These updates improve multi-touch and pen connectivity when the device wakes from sleep, performance in some applications, device graphics performance, Cortana speech recognition, storage performance, and system stability. The following updates are now available for download.

  • Intel(R) Precise Touch Device (v1.2.0.99) improves multi-touch and pen connectivity when the device wakes from sleep.
  • Intel(R) Smart Sound (SST) Audio Bus (v09.21.00.2853) improves video performance in some applications.
  • Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (SST) OED (v09.21.00.2853) improves video performance in some applications.
  • NVIDIA GeForce GPU (v23.21.13.8808) improves device graphics performance.
  • NVIDIA GeForce 965M (v23.21.13.8808) improves device graphics performance.
  • Realtek High Definition Audio(SST) (v6.0.1.8242) improves Cortana speech recognition.
  • Surface NVM Express Controller (v11.0.0.1) improves storage performance.
  • Surface DTX (v2.27.136.0) improves system stability.
