Microsoft releases March 2018 update for the Surface Pro (2017)

Microsoft has released a new update for the Surface Pro (2017), LTE, and non-LTE variants.

The update resolves security issues with Microsoft Edge (see here for more details) and improves battery reliability.

  • Surface System Aggregator Firmware – Firmware -234.2110.770.0 resolves potential security vulnerabilities, including Microsoft security advisory 180002.
  • Surface System Aggregator Firmware – Firmware -234.2110.1.0 improves battery reliability.
    Surface System Aggregator Firmware v233.2102.1.0 is required to install this update

For non-LTE Devices, here’s the changelog:

  • Surface UEFI – Firmware – 233.2110.770.0 resolves potential security vulnerabilities, including Microsoft security advisory 180002.
  • Surface System Aggregator Firmware – Firmware – 233.2111.256.0 improves battery reliability.

You can download Microsoft’s Surface updates from the Windows Update via Settings.
