Microsoft Surface Duo

Microsoft has promised monthly OS updates for the Surface Duo, and today delivered the second 137 MB monthly update for the handset for unlocked devices.

The update contains the monthly Android security update and other small improvements.

The official changelog notes:

  • Addresses scenarios outlined in the Android Security Bulletin – November 2020.
  • Refines camera image quality.
  • Improves moving or dismissing of apps when spanned across both screens.
  • Improves touch stability.
  • Improves device stability.

The update takes the device to build 2020.1014.61, and is now available to unlocked users, and should come to carrier-locked users in a week or two.
