Last quarter Bing earnings saw a massive contraction due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Given that in the USA this never really abated, as can be expected, this continued with Search revenue down 10% YoY.
Search Revenue was negatively impacted by reductions in advertising spend due to the ongoing pandemic-related economic crisis.
With the crisis still far from over it is unlikely these numbers will turn around for some time.
