Microsoft Q1 FY19 Earnings: Office 365 commercial grew 17%, Office 365 consumer subscribers increased to 32.5 million

Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft today announced FY19 Q1 earnings results with a revenue of $29.1 billion and operating income of $10 billion. Microsoft reported that Office commercial products and cloud services revenue increased 17% (up 16% in constant currency) mainly driven by strong Office 365 commercial revenue growth of 36% (up 35% in constant currency).

On the consumer side, Office revenue grew 16% (up 17% in CC) and the total Office 365 consumer subscribers have reached 32.5 million.

Microsoft also mentioned that LinkedIn’s revenue grew 33% (up 33%) with a 34% growth in the LinkedIn level of engagement and in the job postings. Dynamics 365 revenue grew 20% (up 20% in constant currency), thanks to new product refresh cycle and key customer wins.
