Microsoft has pushed out new firmware for the Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4, with some significant improvements.

For the Surface Pro 3, the update brings:

  • 2.0.1350.0 improves battery stability for devices not in use.

For the Surface Pro 4 the update brings battery life and security improvements, with the full changelog reading:

The firmware can be downloaded directly (Surface Pro 3 ,  Surface Pro 4) and will of course also roll out automatically via Automatic Update.
