At an open panel discussion arranged by Ariadne Capital, with EBA (Everyone but Apple) present, Microsoft promised to not just take advantage of the massive growth in the mobile application market, but to be one of the driving forces behind it.

Oded Ran, Head of Consumer Marketing for Windows Phone in UK, acknowledged the changes in the market since the release of the iPhone, but vowed that this was just the start of revolution.
