Storage settings

Windows Phone 8.1 already allows users to install apps on SD card, this feature is critical because many devices comes with just 8GB of internal storage. Few months back, Microsoft said that they are bringing this feature to Windows 10 PCs as well, because many cheap Windows tablets come with just 16GB of internal storage. Now, Microsoft has decided to postpone this feature.

We have actually made the decision to postpone the apps on SD functionality to a later release. While I know this feature excited many of us, we didn’t feel like it was ready for prime time. Our goal is to delight users with everything that we build, and we truly feel that that is what will happen once we have fully built our vision for this feature.

Hopefully, Microsoft will be able to deliver this feature soon.
