Microsoft today released a major update for their Pix camera app for iOS devices. This latest update three new features. First, Microsoft has added Apple iCloud cloud storage support. Second, Microsoft is adding Office Lens features to this app. Pix can now recognize documents, whiteboards, etc. After you capture them, it provides a “scanned” image along with the original picture. Third, they have added new styles for your scanned images. Read about them below.

What’s New in Version 1.1.3:

  • NEW: Pix now recognizes documents, whiteboards and business cards, and provides a “scanned” image along with the original picture
  • NEW: New Styles for your scanned images to add lined paper, crumpled paper and other document – related effects. Tap a scanned image then Edit> Effects to apply a new Style
  •  NEW: iCloud support
  •  FIXED: Pix will no longer stop music playing when you take a picture
