Today, Microsoft revealed that Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO of Microsoft, and Larry Ellison, Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer of Oracle will be providing an update on the expanded partnership between Microsoft and Oracle on Thursday, September 14, at 1 p.m. PT.

Microsoft and Oracle already have several partnerships in various domains.

  • Microsoft and Oracle partnered to deliver the Oracle Interconnect for Microsoft Azure in 2019. This service enables secure and private interconnections between OCI and Azure in 11 global regions.
  • Microsoft and Oracle integrated Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) to provide identity and access management solutions for customers using both cloud platforms. These partnerships are aimed at providing customers with more choice, flexibility, and interoperability across cloud providers.
