Microsoft Now Has A Special Edition Of Windows 10 For Chinese Government


Microsoft last year announced that they are forming a new joint venture in China called called C&M Information Technologies that will be based in Beijing that will license, deploy, manage and optimize Windows 10 for China’s government agencies and certain state owned enterprises and provide ongoing support and services for these customers.

According to a report in Chinese magazine Caixin, Microsoft has already completed the first version of the specialized Windows 10 version for Chinese government. Ralph Haupter, Microsoft China’s CEO said that this special edition Windows features fewer of consumer apps and services and includes more management and security controls, in accordance with the needs of China’s government.
