Microsoft yesterday announced several new updates for Flow, a service for automating workflow across the growing number of apps and SaaS services.

Microsoft is making it easier for users to publish the flows they create to the public gallery. They have to just select the the Submit to Gallery option from the menu and choose the set of categories for the template that will be in the gallery. Also, in order to submit the flow to the gallery, a flow must succeed. This way Microsoft can ensure that this flow will work for other people when they try it.

Microsoft has released a new action for the Office 365 Outlook and Outlook.com connectors called Get calendar view of events which returns back a list of the events, including instances of recurring events if you give a start time and end time as inputs.

The new Run now option on Flow mobile apps will allow you to quickly kick off flows that normally run on a schedule.
