Microsoft Launcher beta

Microsoft yesterday released a new update for Microsoft Launcher beta app in Play Store. This new update removes two existing features and includes with several improvements. Microsoft has removed Timeline and Family parental controls features from the app. Family parental control feature allowed users to set app limits, see kids’ locations on a map, and get reports about app activity. Since Microsoft now has the new dedicated Microsoft Family Safety app, Microsoft has removed this feature from Launcher.

This new update also comes with following improvements:

  • Overview mode page arrangement improvement
  • App Group placement optimization
  • Add app to home screen placement optimization
  • Pagination UI improvement
